NO on Measure 4-243: Nature Deserves our Respect

By

This month, we'll be highlighting some testimonials from our North Coast community about why a NO vote on Measure 4-243 in Cannon Beach is essential for the health of our public beaches.

This message comes from Surfrider member and resident, Dean:

As a surfer, the ocean and beach have always been an important part of my life. They’re where I go to clear my head, find some peace, and reconnect with what matters. I know many others feel the same way. Our dunes are part of a natural system, and we shouldn’t reshape or destroy them simply to benefit a handful of wealthy property owners and their private views. Nature deserves our respect and protection, and our public beaches should be cared for in the interest of the whole community. I proudly stand with Surfrider and the Cannon Beach community in the fight to protect these dunes.
